>> a president trump exclusive from the world stage addressing the big issue shaping america on his state visit to the uk. from alliances abroad to divisions at home and the path forward for the nation, martha has the exclusive interview from london tomorrow on the story. >> thank you guys so much for watching the exclusive interview with jd vance. it was a real pleasure to sit down with him and talk to him and hear all of his thoughts and feelings about his friend, charlie kirk, and really great to also meet those turning points students. they're so fired up and they're ready to carry his mission on and on. always remember, i'm watters. this is. >> and welcome. >> to hannity. we have major. >> breaking news on several. >> fronts tonight. >> moments ago, president trump announced that he is designating. >> antifa as. >> a major terrorist organization, and he will be recommending that those funding antifa be investigated. >> also today. >> fbi director kash patel was back on. capitol hill and today. going toe to toe with

comment that that kimmel made on monday, labeling the alleged charlie kirk assassin as a maga. >> take a look. >> we hit some new lows over the weekend, with the maga gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered charlie kirk as anything other than one of them, and doing everything they can to score political points from it. >> not funny. >> and fake news. >> sadly, this was not the only vile comment about the charlie kirk assassination. on monday night, kimmel made this disgusting remark about president trump's grief over the assassination. take a look. >> this is not how an adult grieves the murder of someone he called a friend. this is how a four-year-old mourns a goldfish. okay. >> now remember i have been calling out jimmy kimmel's reprehensible comments and dialog for years now. you know, like this one that he made mocking the first lady who speaks six languages. melania trump in 2018, you might recall. take a look. >> i want to really thank the

first lady, melania, who has done an incredible job. she worked so hard on this event. and so i want to thank you. >> yeah. >> that's beautiful. >> not a chance. she did one thing to help set that up. there's no she didn't die, egg. she didn't feel bad. the only thing she's been working on is an escape tunnel. no white house easter celebration would be complete without story time from our first lady. >> never stop. >> exploring because life would be boring. be clever. >> and curious. >> just like a cat. >> ask lots. >> of questions about this and that. >> about this and that. >> the most recent vile remarks about charlie kirk's assassination. it should come as no surprise, given his lengthy history of mocking conservatives republicans never ending trump bashing, which is why his ratings sucked. take a look. >> we definitely know who wins times sexiest alleged murderer

the rounds in the right wing media to try to appear to be a human being. everyone gets all worked up. here's the thing donald trump will never die. forget it. he's like dracula. he's going to keep sucking the life out of us forever. >> now, president trump, he did react to this news on truth, social writing in part, quote, great news for america. the ratings challenge jimmy kimmel show is canceled. congratulations to abc for finally having the courage to do what had to be done. kimmel has zero talent and worse ratings than even colbert, if that's possible. now the left already starting with humpty dumpty, fake news, cnn, j.b. pritzker, gavin newsom predictably claiming this is conservative censorship. the maga crowd donald trump got jimmy kimmel. that is false. i can't find a single prominent conservative voice in the country that even remotely
11:06 pm
wanted or hoped or was pushing to get jimmy kimmel taken off the air. nobody. it just was simple. people change the channel. they didn't watch him. not one person can i think of. maybe there's one, but i can't think of him now. truth be told, jimmy kimmel's show was failing spectacularly. i've seen the ratings. they're awful. his ratings are far below even that of stephen colbert, who was canceled. now why you ask? this is supposed to be a late night comedy show. it has become nothing more than nonstop, never ending hate donald trump. that's the show. as a result, the ratings have been in the sewer. it has been spiraling downwards for years, and once the ratings go down, revenues go down as well. they go hand in hand. in other words, jimmy kimmel simply failed at his job. he lost his audience. then they lost revenue. and then stations.
11:07 pm
groups they like had had enough. after this comment, you know about a husband and father of two. they said enough's enough. low ratings, no money. what's the point? and that is the predictable outcome. in television, there's no pressure group outside that was pushing for jimmy kimmel to be silenced. i'm sure he'll end up having a platform somewhere. he'll have a podcast. he'll be able to curse on everything. my understanding is most station groups were just fed up with this show. first, the tv group next star, followed by the tv group sinclair telling disney they don't want the show anymore. it's not working for them. they can't sell it. it's not getting ratings. am i understanding it's going to be replaced with steve harvey? celebrity family feud actually is a good show and funny. much funnier than kimmel given kimmel's disastrous ratings, history of crass commentary, lack of any humor, chasing away more than half the country, vile attacks on
11:08 pm
people he disagrees with politically, it's not a shock he did this to himself. nobody pushed. he jumped. and remember, this is brendan, carr said to podcaster benny johnson today, quote, what people don't understand is broadcasters are entirely different than people who use other forms of communication. they have a license granted by us at the fcc, and what comes with it is an obligation to operate in the public interest. from my perspective, it's frankly amazing his show lasted this long. fcc chairman brendan carr is here now with the latest. sir, welcome to the program. can you explain that difference? go into more detail? >> yeah. broadcasters are different. >> than any other form of communication, including here. we're on cable right now. fox news doesn't have an fcc license. cnn doesn't, but abc, cbs, nbc, those broadcast stations do. and with that license comes a unique obligation to operate in the public interest. and over the years, the fcc walked away
11:09 pm
from enforcing that public interest obligation. i don't think we're better off as a country for it. but look, president trump ran directly at these legacy broadcast outlets, and he exposed them to these market forces. and a lot of these affiliate groups said, to your point, we're tired of carrying this stuff. late night shows. something's gone seriously awry there. they went from going for applause, from laugh lines to applause lines. they went from being court jesters that would make fun of everybody in power to being court clerics and enforcing a very narrow political ideology. and nexstar, as you noted, stood up and said, look, we have the license and we don't want to run this anymore. we don't think it serves the interests of our community. sinclair did the same thing, so there's more work to go. but i'm very glad to see that america's broadcasters are standing up to serve the interests of their community. we don't have this progressive foie gras coming out from new york and hollywood. >> and there are plenty of other platforms. i mean, i think he'd be a perfect fit,
11:10 pm
for example, at fake news cnn, considering he really didn't ever want to do a comedy show, he wanted to do a news show, you know, maybe a dose of what he thought was funny for a very limited small audience. you know, it's interesting. brendan carr, as i look at the media landscape out there, i want to get your thoughts on this. even the broadcast channels and the cable channels and newspapers around the country. if you look back to the last election, they did everything to smear, slander, attack, besmirch donald trump day in and day out. the department of justice was weaponized under biden and harris. they threw everything they had at this man. and guess what? he still won. and i said after the election that the legacy media died because if they had any impact, it's long gone. and i think they have lost the trust of the american people because of the very reason you're describing. do you agree with that? >> yeah. look, president trump ran against immense odds. these legacy media outlets
11:11 pm
threw everything at him. almost every single hoax imaginable. right. biden is sharp as a tack, bearing the hunter biden laptop story, the russia collusion hoax, and most politicians would have just gone along with that narrative or not fought at all. but president trump punched back, and when he did so, he was standing up for the american people that simply don't trust those outlets anymore. we at the fcc are going to enforce the public interest obligation. if there's broadcasters out there that don't like it, they can turn their license into the fcc. but that's our job. and again, we're making some progress. now. >> do you believe, based on the list that you just gave us, that, that broadcasters that had a particular agenda were trying to use the license that they were granted, not in the public interest, but to advance a political cause, i think. is that an in-kind donation? >> i think there's evidence of that. look, running a narrow partizan circus, whatever the public interest means, it's not that. and we are working
11:12 pm
to reinvigorate that. this action today by nexstar and sinclair, frankly, it's unprecedented. i can't imagine another time when we've had local broadcasters tell what we call a national programmer like disney, that your content no longer meets the needs and the values of our community. so this is an important turning point. and frankly speaking of that, obviously charlie kirk set out to change the country, to change the culture and the result of his work are continuing to produce results. and that's a good thing. >> you know, i found the comments of jay leno, who i always thought was very funny. he took on all comers. he went after the left, he went after the right. he went after republican presidents. he went after democratic presidents. he his goal was to be funny. and i always thought he was funny. and he raised the question when colbert got fired, you know, why would you purposely alienate half of your potential audience by just being one sided? i thought it was a great question. i'm not sure why
11:13 pm
some of these, quote, late night comedians aren't really funny to me, why they didn't do it. and then it's interesting to watch somebody like bill maher, you know, who had interviewed charlie kirk, you know, basically say he was heartbroken and sick over what had happened to him. it didn't hear from a lot of these guys. >> i mean, you can't avoid ratings. at the end of the day, the market is going to be undefeated in a lot of these corporations, disney and comcast, they have been protecting and frankly, subsidizing this content. again. once president trump smashed that facade, he gave a permission structure to local broadcasters to finally stand up. and when you're losing money in the case of colbert, reportedly $50 million, that's only going to go so far in the same thing with kimmel. they're now facing the consequences of the choices that they made to appeal to a very, very narrow audience. again, you can do that. you can start a podcast, you can go on youtube. but if you're going to have a license from the fcc, we expect you to broadly serve the public interest. >> okay. we really appreciate your time. brendan carr thank
11:14 pm
you, sir. it's been a rough couple of days for abc following his reprehensible remarks about the newly revealed messages between tyler robinson and his transgender partner yesterday, abc news reporter matt gutman was forced to apologize, saying in part that he was trying to underscore the contrast between the assassination and the disturbing texts now, before adding in a half hearted apology that he deeply regrets that his words did not make that clear. didn't make it clear your words did. the did the exact opposite, matt. in fact, yesterday you said that, quote, disturbing texts were touching what? you might remember this. >> and i don't think i've ever experienced a press conference in which we've read text messages that are so fulsome, so robust, so apparently, allegedly self-incriminating and yet, on the other hand, so touching, right? with the suspect reaching out to his roommate, who is his allegedly his boyfriend, who we
11:15 pm
understand, you know, identified as male at birth, now identifies as female. and the terminology he used, he was trying to protect him. he kept calling him my love. my, my reason for doing this is to protect you. >> all right. here to weigh in on all of tonight's breaking news, fox news contributor, our media guru, joe concha, is with us. this was predictable for a long time when colbert got fired. what did i say on this show? what did you say on this show? no doubt he had higher ratings than kimmel. kimmel would likely be next. i would argue kimmel did this to himself, but of course, people want to blame conservatives for this happening. well, can you name one prominent conservative? i've been boycotted in my career that calls for my firing many times in my career. no liberal ever came to my defense. ever. my private text messages released. no liberal ever came to my defense. putting all that aside, can you name one prominent conservative that said, i want jimmy kimmel fired because i can't can't.
11:16 pm
>> find it. >> don't see it online. and quite frankly, that's because it does. not exist. sean. the bottom. line is that jimmy. >> kimmel is. >> three things and they're not good. he is. patently dishonest. he is. stupid. >> and he is. >> profoundly unfunny. >> and when you're those three things, this comes down. >> to accountability and basic accounting. accounting in. >> terms of like you mentioned. >> colbert was. >> losing $40. $50 million per year to produce. >> that show. that was a distant. second to greg gutfeld. >> and then kimmel is actually behind him in third place, losing probably about the same amount of money since they have more or less the same production costs. so this is basic math now, as far as accountability. >> the. >> days are over when you can just go on national television and just make up any crap you want, any time, and not think you know something may happen eventually in terms of your affiliates saying, this is ridiculous, and don't tell me that, oh well, this is comedy
11:17 pm
and get over it, guys, please. no, this wasn't comedy. this was jimmy kimmel talking about 31 year old charlie kirk, who was executed in utah just because he wanted to have a free exchange of ideas. and here's kimmel's argument, by the way, sean, so you're telling me that, oh, this was a maga supporter, tyler robinson, the shooter? since when does a trans loving guy who had anti-fascist on bullets, who's far left completely, who had a visceral hatred for charlie kirk, confessed to it? how does that make him a maga reporter supporter? by the way, if the plan is if he's maga to take out the biggest supporter, the biggest advocate and activist donald trump has in the country, how does that make any sense? so he knew he was lying when he did this. and it's finally good to see that accountability is back in style. more importantly, maybe entertainment is back in style. no one wants to watch the dnc every night on abc and cbs when we had carson and
11:18 pm
letterman, even conan o'brien, leno, as you mentioned, you would have the escapism and you would actually laugh at 1130 at night. and now these guys are just using these platforms as this operation to push everything. that's great about liberals and what's evil about republicans. and now the chickens have come home to roost because kimmel is gone. colbert will be gone next year, and this is just the way things are going to go. maybe entertainment will finally be something that we have on our television screens again. >> so it makes no sense. jay leno was right. and that is you alienate half the audience. i don't remember johnny carson alienating half the country at all, ever. he was funny and he had a massive audience alienate half the country. you get to the point your ratings are so low, which results in lower revenues. whether or not people want to hear this or not, it is a business. there is a business aspect to television. if you can't afford the production costs, you can't afford to be on the air, then that show's not going to survive. it's a squared b squared c squared. it's that simple. and then
11:19 pm
these companies are saying, okay, now you're going after a guy that was assassinated, a husband and father of two. sorry, it's you're not worth it anymore. and they're the ones that pushed him out, you know. but they'll claim it's conservatives. >> that's the thing, right? i mean, jimmy kimmel literally went on the air in an interview with another network and said that he wished that no trump supporter ever watched his show again. in other words, if you're a stockholder at disney, you're like, wait a minute, you just told half the country not to watch you again. why would you keep a clown like that around? who declares something like that? i mean, clearly jimmy kimmel had become unhinged at this point. so look, what more can you say here, sean? this isn't about conservatives pushing out jimmy kimmel. no one forced jimmy kimmel to make up what he did about charlie kirk and nexstar and and other affiliates like sinclair. they're not doing this out of ideological reasons. they're doing it because they don't like losing money anymore. and he's such a
11:20 pm
pr headache that he's not worth saving. it's that simple. >> you know, never once in my career for people that have watched this show for a long time have i ever called for a firing. have i ever called for a boycott? i've been i've i've had calls for my firing, boycotts of this show that has happened to me in the course of my career. i've never done it. and if you go back, i'm sure bill maher probably wouldn't remember. but the loudest voices defending him when politically incorrect got canceled on abc were rush limbaugh, sean hannity, mark levin and conservative voices. that was back in the day. he doesn't remember or care. >> that was 2002. i remember that quite well. and that's the thing. you've never called for anything like that. let the market dictate exactly what's going to happen here. and by the way, all these people that are getting fired for celebrating the murder, the execution of charlie kirk. i'm sorry. if you run a hospital, if you run a law firm, if you run a place where you get an education, i could go down the line and you have
11:21 pm
an employee that is celebrating something that is that sick. i'm sorry. when you work for a company, you represent that company and that brand. and if you're going to celebrate the murder of a father of two like that, then you shouldn't be working there anymore. and employers are right to fire those people. it's not canceling. it's a matter of who do i want to work in my company? and who has the integrity to get a paycheck from here? it's that simple as well. >> all right, joe concha, always great to have you. appreciate your analysis. the media guru joe concha. all right. up next tonight right here on hannity. >> i don't know who feels safe in this country except for the white supremacist, because i specifically as a black woman, definitely don't feel safe. >> another day, another insane comment from jasmine crockett. this time it was a kash patel hearing on the hill. house judiciary committee chairman jim jordan was at the hearing. where do you see some of the fireworks from today? we'll get to that and more straight ahead. stay with us. >> have a great performance.

11:30 pm
this country and the state and citizens of california. we are bringing historic reforms. >> you got to love that moment. while democrats are trying to score cheap political points, kash patel, the fbi, they're actually investigating charlie kirk's assassination, along with the alleged assassins discord chat and all the disturbing social media posts surrounding charlie kirk. and major breaking news tonight, president trump just announced that he is now designating antifa as a, quote, sick, dangerous, radical, left disaster. a major terrorist organization. and he is recommending that those funding antifa be thoroughly investigated. here now with reaction chairman of the house judiciary committee, our friend jim jordan is with us. wow. you got a boring day. >> no, cash was great, sean. and you, you played some of the highlights both from yesterday and some of the great things you did today. turns out, sean, when you stopped spying on parents, stop spying on presidents,
11:31 pm
stop spying on pro-lifers, stop spying on catholics, and focus on getting the bad guys. you can actually get the bad guys off the streets. and that that to me was the key takeaway from today's hearing. kash patel, director patel has the fbi back focused on taking bad guys, getting bad guys off the streets behind bars. that's a good thing for the country. we all understand that and the politics is gone. and i think the other big takeaway, frankly, was he is much as confirmed. he can't really do this because it's an ongoing investigation. but he pretty much said that comey, clapper, brennan and the former chair of the house intelligence committee, now the senator from california, are under this investigation that attorney general bondi has started a special strike force she is using to focus in on what they did back in december of 16th january of 17, when they started this whole charade to go after president trump and undermine him. i think those were were the two big takeaways relative to antifa. sean, you're right. these people need to be investigated. remember what
11:32 pm
they did five summers ago when they let for like 100 days straight in portland, oregon, they laid siege to just a nonstop attack on the federal building there in portland. of course, the president's right. these people need to be investigated and our committee will be looking into it. >> you know, the criticism i felt was ridiculous. they were able to catch this guy out in utah in 33 hours. you know, the sarnoff brothers, five days. eric rudolph, six years. the unabomber 17 years. here's what we have since kash has been fbi director. more than 23,000 violent criminals arrested, 6000 illegal firearms off the streets, located more than 4700 child victims, a 35% increase, 1500 child predators arrested and captured four of the ten most wanted in this country. they have not really been there that long. i'd say that's a pretty impressive record. >> it's amazing. it's truly
11:33 pm
impressive. not to mention the guy they caught who was one of the people responsible for what happened at abbey gate. one of the guys from the fourth district, matt kubiak. max kubiak was from our district, was one of the people who gave his life for our country. so this is a guy who's focused on the central mission of the of the premier law enforcement agency, doing what you're supposed to do, not doing the politics. and also, he's also giving us the information that chris wray wouldn't just with the catholic memo situation. chris wray said it was a one off. it only happened in the one field office in richmond, virginia. that was not true. kash has given us 700 documents that show it was in multiple field offices, multiple places around the country. they surveilled a priest. they spied on the church, spied on a priest. that's how bad it was. that stuff is gone. they're focusing on getting the bad guys and holding people accountable. who started this whole weaponization of our intelligence community and our law enforcement. >> we've got to get to the
11:34 pm

11:41 pm
year's presidential election. and remember, virginia actually elected glenn youngkin, a republican governor in 2021. and by the way, on the same night, republican jack kelly came within three points of getting elected governor of new jersey. if i had to go back in time, i would have paid a lot more attention to that race. my bad. jack is back this year as the republican nominee, so there is a lot of enthusiasm behind his campaign. apparently, the democrats are extremely worried about it because left wing protesters showed up on the campaign trail. and guess what? their messages were as hateful as ever. one protester holding up a sign right from james comey that said 8647. another call to assassinate our president only days after charlie kirk's own horrific murder for the murder, by the way, that another protester marked with this sign, quote, this is a turning point. sorry, charlie. hit the road, jack. wow. now, we asked the

democratic nominee, congresswoman mikey cheryl, to respond. in a statement. she said she calls for political violence. calls for political violence are totally unacceptable. call charlie's assassination horrific noted that while serving in the military, she swore to protect the first amendment with her life here now with reaction is the republican nominee for governor, new jersey candidate jack ciattarelli is with us. first, your reaction to what's going on in your state? >> well. >> based on last. >> night's protesters, sean, pretty disgusting, pretty despicable and unacceptable. and i've called on my opponent to tell her her, her protesters to cut it out. it's not the kind of thing we want to see in new jersey. >> okay. so as i read through her record and i go over it again and again and again, it's all green new deal. it's all solar, it's all wind. it's all everything that we know is
11:43 pm
too expensive. everything that we know that the economy doesn't use, the world's economy is governed by energy. and that means natural gas. that means fracking, that means coal. that means, you know, oil, all the things that matter. and yet another democrat, you know, why have they not learned from all of the billions and billions spent and wasted at this point? why do they double down on that? >> because they love pandering to the far left element of their party, which is radical when it comes to energy, and we need it desperately in new jersey. my opponent is blaming it on the president. last i checked, he's only been in office less than nine months. they broke it. they own it. sean. when they came into office eight years ago, new jersey was an electricity exporter. today we're having to import it because they shut down six different electricity generation plants. my opponent has put forth an illegitimate, illegal plan that even the governor of our state, who's a
11:44 pm
member of her party, slapped her down on saying he doesn't think that can work. >> all right. so. and also mamdani supporter. >> she endorsed him and he returned the favor. and she seems not to care for the 400,000 new jerseyans that have to go to new york every day to work. i do. no matter where they are. but it's another disqualifier, in my opinion, with regard to her candidacy. >> okay, let's talk about the choice before the people of new jersey, new jersey, like new york, like illinois, like california, you have seen an exodus. corporations are leaving, small businesses are leaving, and people are leaving. how do you prevent that from happening? >> by lowering our business tax, the way the democratic governor of pennsylvania is, and by simplifying our tax code and lowering our income tax rates. my goodness, our top bracket is 11%. pennsylvania is three. florida doesn't even have an income tax. people are leaving left and right and taking wealth with them. they're job creators that are leaving the state. we've got to make new
11:45 pm
jersey a better place to do business. got to make it a place where young people get a start. got to make it a place where seniors can retire. my plan is very specific on how to do all that. my opponent has put forth a single specific plan on how to make new jersey a better place to live, work, retire and raise a family or start a business. >> all right, jack, we're going to watch this very closely. by the way, i see that this is just breaking as we go to break here, and that is that sinclair broadcasting group, which owns 24 abc stations in major american cities, announced they're going to be filling jimmy kimmel's time slot. wow. with a tribute to charlie kirk. thank you jack. coming up straight ahead. president trump in the uk for his historic second state visit.

really does get my attention. >> it really. >> does, john. look. we're the. >> united states of america is the world's economic and military superpower. and our our allies respect us. that's what you saw tonight. and our enemies fear us. but i remember under barack obama and president president biden, it wasn't. like this. it was all about appeasement. it was all about cowering down to them. it was about putting red lines in the sand and not enforcing them. but to see this sort of majesty and this closeness with one of our greatest allies and our first lady, melania trump. boy, just so proud to be an american and see that representation of that couple. the first couple, president trump and his wife, the first lady. it was it was just it's what i think our country needed in a in a very tough week. >> yeah. well, it's been a very tough week. and for a reminder, you were there when charlie got assassinated. it's been hard on everybody. but i will tell you, charlie is

having such an impact. people have responded to this in a way that i wouldn't imagine. although the more of him that i watch and the more tapes of him that i see, the more i understand it. now, while president trump is making history, former president biden get this jason. he's struggling to make a living. according to a report from the wall street journal. companies are hesitant to hire the former president as a paid speaker because of his unpopularity. biden did secure a book deal an advance of around 10 million, far less than the 60 million deal that obama secured when he left office. okay, can we be be honest here? the guy couldn't talk when he was in office. who would ever want to listen to him out of office? older and even worse. that makes no sense. >> exactly. who's going to hire him as a speaker? he was hired to be the speaker. in other words, the president of the united states. and he couldn't mumble his way through it for the last few

years. look, he's been living off a grift since 1972. he leveraged his power for his family business. but that family business came to a crashing halt. they have no ability to make income. the son hunter, is a failure to launch. an absolute abysmal human being. and that family. you know, now that he's not in power. they have no assets. they have no talent. they have nothing to offer the world. and and nobody wants to pay it anymore. they felt like they had to pay it. now they don't have to. >> all right. finally, finally. far too late. jerome powell, the fed chair who will be out in may, cut interest rates 0.25 basis points earlier this afternoon, marking the first cut since december, despite president trump's push for it to be larger and sooner, the fed said it expects two more cuts this year. okay. too little, too late as far as i'm concerned. however, when we get a new fed chair, jerome powell does, there will be a
11:55 pm
massive cut and then sell a preexisting homes that will kick in. new home construction will kick in. and i think that will help the economy dramatically. do you agree? >> i do. he's about eight months late. it should have been a full half a percent. i think the president trump's always been right. and particularly young people in this country, they're really struggling to get into a home. and if they would just listen to president trump, he's been right on everything. economically, do what the president is doing, for goodness sake. this guy, he has to go. we can't make the change soon enough. but donald trump can lead us to greater prosperity if we just follow his economic plan top to bottom. >> well, add to that. what is it, 15, $17 trillion in manufacturing investments? you know, energy dominance, largest tax cuts in history. that's a pretty good foundation. no. >> yeah, that's going to all kick in. and boy, if you're betting on one country in the world, it's the united states of america. we're moving in the right direction. >> we are. all right jason
